Reflection on my Proposal

After presenting my proposal in class I stil feel confident in my plan. I think I should be fine, my only concern is with the editing process. I want everything to work out the way I've planned and practiced.

I have yet to decide what I'm going to film with and where I'm going to film. I think I might save my video project for Thanksgiving break and try to get the other two done before then considering I don't need a special place to film. Which leads me to my next concern, what to film with? I'm going to run a test and compare my Jazz Video recorder (cheap flip) to the video quality of my camera. I have a feeling my camera will be better.

Other than those few concerns I remain confident in my proposal and plan. Let's hope my hubris isn't my fatal flaw.

Project Proposal

Alright so here is my project proposal:

Video #1
For my first video, I'm going to make an instructional video that teaches children how to tie their shoes. It will be a simple video with a few repeating sections. I plan to use Windows Movie Maker. I've been playing around with it and I think it should do the trick.

Video #2
For my second video, I'm going to take a still frame picture of a children's book. I'm then going to tie these pictures together in a sequence that zooms in on the picture or certain characters. In the background, a narrator will read the lines on the page. Again I plan to use Windows Movie maker to edit and create this video. I plan to use my Ipod Touch to record the audio.

Audio #1
I plan to have a narrator read a book for my audio requirement.  I'm hoping to have someone read the narrator portion of the story and have a few other people read the individual character's parts. I'm hoping that my ipod will be able to cover this, if not, I'm going to use the microphone on my computer.

That's my project proposal. I'm hoping that everything works out the way I've planned it.
